"To anyone shopping for a home inspector. My wife and I are first time home buyers and needless to say, the process is quite daunting. When it came time to have an inspection done, Paul was recommended to us by our agent. Paul arrived early, was very friendly, and the report was very detailed and easy to understand. Being a first time home buyer he took a lot of extra time and went out of his way to not only show me potential problems with the home, but also to explain how it happened and what any consequences might be. In closing, I highly recommend Paul Nashke and Smart Home Inspections."

Thank you for visiting. Feel free to call to discuss your property.
Thorough inspections cost $200-400, and usually take a few hours hours at the property. We schedule inspections starting about 10 am or 2 pm, 7 days a week. You are welcome to attend the whole inspection or the summary. You get many tips on how to operate and maintain your property. I am happy to answer any questions you might have.
The inspection includes a complete check of the hundreds of items that affect the structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical integrity, of the building, and the safety and health of the occupants. A key is the experience to recognize and predict water damage.
Information is gathered to prepare a detailed report that is e-mailed to you within 24 hours. The report includes photos with captions and highlights, summary page, building code references, insurance information, helpful links, and advice for future maintenance. The format has been continuously improved for easy reading and a logical flow. Many have told me it is the best report in the industry.
A defect as small as a nail hole can cause thousands of dollars in water damage. Defects are often hidden in the attic, crawlspace, basement, electrical panel or on the roof. These areas can be difficult and dangerous to access without the right tools and experience. Finding these now can save you money.
You can pay a lot more by choosing another company that is a franchise, has an extra layer of management, a store front, or gives "discount" coupons. If you simply want the most thorough inspection, for the best price, call.
